Pay rate:         $12.00 to 13.00 per hour

First scheduled Shift: (start time TBD) Second Shift - Beginning shifts as early as 5PM and then every 4 hour increment shift start time.

Role and Purpose of this Position:

A Utility Service Representative is responsible for taking inbound calls, making outbound calls and data entry as needed under the direction of the Call Center Supervisor/Manager. The Utility Service Representative supports and communicates energy efficiency programs for a wide range of clients. This position is also responsible for complying with company standards, policies and procedures formulated and recommended by Call Center Management.

Job Duties (but not limited to):

·         Handling customer inquiries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism

·         Providing first call resolutions

·         Offering alternative solutions where appropriate

·         Communicating with customers using web-based tools

·         Working in one or multiple skill sets over various customer contact channels

·         Any additional duties that are necessary due to the needs of the business

·         You must be available to work between the hours stated in your offer letter, Monday-Sunday.

·         Reliable transportation is required.

Job Requirements (but not limited to):

·         A high school diploma/GED and one year of related controlcenter, electrical distribution, or electrical engineeringexperience.

·         Ability to operate a computer and knowledge of computerized communicationsoperations, data entry, and the filing and retrieving of electronicinformation.

·         Ability to use MS Office Suite programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access andother related software as needed. Prefer experience with radiocommunications.

·         Must have excellent verbal communication skills and speak English clearly. Ability tooperate and communicate clearly on a two-wayradio.

·         Ability to learn, use and understand technical jargon and terms used in the electricalindustry.

·         Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts to include weekends, nights and

·         A pleasant and professional speaking voice with excellent diction

·         Advanced computer skills

·         Typing 35-40 WPM

·         Ability to multi-task

·         Outstanding customer service skills

·         Excellent interpersonal communications skills

·         Ability to listen and understand information and ideas

·         Ability to create grammatically correct sentences

·         Ability to think creatively to find solutions

·         A sound knowledge of telephone etiquette

·         Ability to adapt to changing demands of the work environment

Industry Knowledge Preferred:

·         Previous experience with customer support environment

·         Comfort with database applications; will train

·         Any outsourcing industry experience

·         Proficient in second language, but not required

·         Utility Industry knowledge; Electric, Gas, Water, Sewer, City Office.

Professional Skills Required:

·         Must exhibit excellent communication skills

·         Ability to work independently

·         Excellent organizational and follow up skills

·         Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

·         Ideally have knowledge of MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

·         General office environment. Regular work required on weekends and evenings as business dictates.
